greekcest? is it a thing?

by: Question

Ok so I'm just gonna spill, last quarter I got picked up by a guy who I was very very attracted to. I had a boyfriend at the time, so when we got close us wasn't going to happen. Then I broke up with my boyfriend and like right after he picked me up. Is it really that big of a deal if I were to want to HU with my big?

I know of more than a few instances where this has happened. Even between a big sis and little bro. Go for it

It's not uncommon.. but being big and little is a tradition in the Greek system that's meant to be a way to look out for the best interest of your closest friends, like real family. Romantic relationships complicate that real quick. I suggest if you really feel strongly about him, you ditch the familial bond before moving forward. But that's just me...

He's not your real brother, I've heard of people in the same line hooking up (like twins, uncles/neice) but the thing is that at some schools this is why their Panhellenic and IFC don't allow big and littles for sororities and frats. It's generally reserved for relationships that are strictly platonic. If you do, I suggest you keep it on the DL, and definitely do not start dating because then what was the point of being picked up in the first place.

Carolyn needs to just hook up with her big bro already. We all know she's in love with him
