I feel like some of the mid sororities actually have a worse sisterhood. my older sister joined a different sorority than me, and one many consider to be in the "middle" tier, and unfortunately it seems like some (not all) of them are more concerned with moving up in the ranks than focusing on sisterhood, especially during rush. yes, every house puts their best face forward for rush (and rightfully so) but getting a great pledge class is not the most important thing in life. at least in the "better" ones, where most of them are pretty, they just kind of acknowledge it and move on. it's a bonus but it should not be that important. dividing your sorority into the half that holds you up and the half that holds you down is petty and wrong.

And top houses aren't concerned about staying top? Pleaseeeeee. They know they'll get booted if they don't do well.
