alpha phi

Okay I'm not one to usually post on this website unless it's something I feel strongly about. One of my biggest pet peeves is when girls put down other girls because of their chapter to their face. Last night at white party I was waiting outside in the lines and these 4 blonde girls were in front of me. I'm also white and blonde but I'm not in one of the "top houses." The girls were talking and I agreed on something they said and they started talking to me and of course the first question was oh are you affiliated? And I told them yeah I'm a _______. The 4 of them looked around at each other and started giggling and I heard one of them whisper ew while the girl who asked originally laughed and said oh never mind. They turned around and continued laughing.
This is not okay. I love my chapter very much and couldn't be happier. I don't need to be in a top house because of what I look like. I choose my chapter because it's where I felt I fit in (if a top house is where someone else fits in there's nothing wrong with that either). Just because I didn't choose a top ranked house based on my appearance is not a reason to put me down or laugh at me. I know if someone told me they were in another chapter NO MATTER THE CHAPTER I would be nice and say something positive.
And the only reason I know they are alpha phis is because as soon as they all got their ID's checked they started walking in and one of them screamed "all alpha phis come over here!!" Please respect other chapters aphi
