why don't we have homecomings?

I think it'd be so fun to have some big campus wide homecoming like USC and other schools, where Frats get paired up with sororities and it's like you get escorted, and everybody get's along!

Unfortunately UCI is a public school so it doesn't get its funding from esteemed alumni like USC's does. So there's no reason to raise alumni school spirit with an event like homecoming since it's just a waste of money

What if we got to pick our own partners for greekweek or songfest? It sucks how there is no event on campus where the fraternities and sororities actually get to pick each other like that

the same frats and sororities would pair up each time, and the ones that are good at that kind of stuff like ksig, sigep, gphi, tridelt would always combine and no one else would have a chance of winning
or for greekweek all the top houses would hang out and the bottom houses would hang out

the whole point of these events is to pair people so that the greek community is less cliquey and we can all do things togehter
