Here's how I feel about tri delt. They have all the ingredients needed to be a top house. Hot girls, decent sports/grades, great philanthropy, wins Songfest. Actually they are my favorite sorority also because on top of that they're down to earth nice girls.
The problem is they don't give off the vibe of a top house since they're so nice, if that makes sense. Being top house you have to be a little more picky about who you hang out with and give off an elite vibe, like DG and APhi do. The reason why people still regard APhi as still being a top house is because even if they don't walk the walk, they have CONFIDENCE. It's like a Kanye thing, you are because you believe. I don't think Tri delt gives that vibe yet and that's why I don't think they're tide with DG

you can talk about confidence and believing and walking all you want, if your house is full of average looking girls with no personality, and no talent like no frats are gonna wanna hang out with you. Tri Delta's are the whole package, good looking, smart, athletic, and artsy AND even though they are top house material, they choose to be friendly and down to earth. My only complaint about Gamma Phi Beta, is that they know they're a good house, and it kind of went strait to their head. Their new girls have a really sharp cutting attitude when you talk to them.

Interesting that you randomly threw in Gamma Phi Beta. Tridelts are mostly very nice, but guess what? During recruitment they were actually pretty rude to me. I didn't feel a fit with their house either, and I know houses do that to weed out girls, but still. Not every Tridelt is the sweetest. And I think that relates to Gphi, maybe a few have let it get to their head, but they are actually really nice. They are probably just as or almost as nice as my house is. And my house is super sweet. Besides, Gphi knows they aren't top tier quite yet, so I don't think it is as bad as people make it out to be. But I do think Tridelt is a solid top house. I don't think they need more exclusivity, I just think they need to present more poise/confidence like DG and Aphi do.

I hate how I didn't notice the autocorrect and now i'm stuck with the stupid typo lol.
Think about it like this: UC Berkeley and Stanford: Both relatively equal in sports (rivals, Stanford is a bit better), both have smart people, in fact, Berkeley has even more research output than Stanford. But if you ask anyone what will they say is the better school? Stanford, because its more selective. If Tri delt tries to give off that vibe they can be tied for top house with DG but instead they hang out with all the frats including bottom tier, so because of that they are not top like DG is.

I think there is a way they can exute more confidence and be a little more picky without being like DG/Aphi exclusively. Although Aphi isn't as exclusive anymore.
