you guys

Songfest is one of the few times of the year the greek community is supposed to put aside petty drama, and come together to help support a greater cause and show the rest of UCI that we are more than promiscuous drama queen airheads or stereotypical alcoholic douchey frat guys. No wonder the majority of UCI looks down upon greek life. Every sorority/fraternity had members that put so much work and dedication into this effort. It's truly shameful and embarassing to see how much hate and mockery is being put on houses that they thought didn't do well (or even the ones they thought they did). Even the posts praising certain houses get comments that are degrading and rude to that chapter and specific members. If you give a damn, and for the sake of UCI greek life I hope that you do. please don't post anything about songfest. Even if you think it's positive, an anonymous troll with an ulterior motive won't agree. The people that participated in songfest, regardless of whether they got first or last place, put in alot of work for a good cause and it breaks my heart to see that destroyed because certain members want to use that as a chance to promote their chapter/bash another.
