lonely in greek life

by: :/

I'm a first year in a top 5 sorority. I joined thinking I would have great sisterhood but I think I'm starting to regret my decision. When I reach out to my sisters they ignore me. I don't feel like I fit in at all. Advice to make the experience better? I'm scared to talk to someone about it because I don't want to look like a loser.

I kind of know how you feel. I have made wonderful friends but at the same time I don't truly feel like they value me as a sister that much. But the truth is, everyone is so busy and self-interested. If you haven't made at least one really good friend from the chapter consider leaving. Tbh why are you paying. There are plenty of clubs/organizations on campus.

I feel YA. Most of my greek friends I made through going to frat parties and they aren't even in my own chapter

It is honestly hard with THAT many girls. Go out and meet people. You'll find friends more naturally that way. And you'll figure out which sisters are by your side.
