thinking of rushing
by: non-greekI heard some really good things about different frats here- but I'm looking to join a really non douchey fraternity with a great brotherhood. I used to be a varsity soccer player in high school, so sports do matter to me. I was thinking maybe Pi kapp, or Sigma Nu, or even Pike?

Pike and Sigma Nu have a better soccer team and are better in sports than Pi Kapp, if you are looking for that. Pike has better sorority relations, then I would say Sigma Nu then Pi Kapp. But Sigma Nu has a better brotherhood than Pike and Pi Kapp. Don't go straight off stereotypes and just rush the frats to get to know the guys.

I think my dads going to rush pike. Heard they have a higher acceptance rate than uc merced

If sports play a big role in your decision then Pike is the way to go as they're one of the most athletic frats at UCI.
You're saying brotherhood is also something you want then out of those Pi Kapp from what I've seen has one of the best on campus.
