Yeah why are they doing spring not winter? To me it makes no sense.. maybe they dont want to deal with the winter competition so they can snag girls during spring?
Anyway if you feel so inclined towards theta I would talk to them in person (at the mixer or talk to Panhellenic) and confirm they are doing spring. You could wait but you may not want to give you a bid in whichcase you would be stuck in fall. But you see every house in fall!

Awkward moment for you when I'm right. I didn't bash them, just spoke the truth. Plus I didn't say not to check out Theta. Don't put words in my mouth, Theta. She is welcome to look at whatever chapter and I hope she finds the right home even if it is Theta.

It just means that Theta doesn't have many graduating seniors in Fall so there's no need to do COB if they're only gonna have to get a class of 2 or 3 girls. They probably have more graduating in Winter so they do have to do it in Spring. It has nothing to do with "how well" a chapter is doing. Like for ex, just because GPhi has to do Winter COB doesn't mean they did a bad job.

here's the deal with spring: theta, dg, aphi are probably doing spring. why? because they're interested in picking up more girls but they did well in the fall and maxed out their quota. nobody is deactivating either so they literally are just waiting for a handful of seniors to graduate early. at least that's what i've heard from every chapter mentioned. so good luck winter rush, because as soon as pnms find out, they're probably gonna wanna hold off till spring hahaha

as a member of one of those 3 chapters you mentioned, can confirm. this is exactly the reason we aren't doing winter. not because we don't want to, just simply not enough spots. during spring a handful of seniors will have graduated early and then spots open up.
