who decides who gets cut/invited back?

my friend at UCLA says the girls you talk to at recruitment don't really get a say if you get invited back or not but that a committee goes through the applications and decides while recruitment is just for show. Is this true? Or is it different at UCI

That is definitely not the case here. Each of the girls vote individually. Each sorority has different systems, but you are ranked based on your conversations.

Every girl you talk to at UCI votes on you. It is based on looks and conversation. But, the number system is out of their hands, so every once in a while some pnms will get lucky.

true for some chapters, not true for others. some are more in the hands of the whole chapter, while others leave it up to the people in charge of recruitment in their chapter.
