To break it down very simply, do not wear clubbing clothes. I cannot stress this enough. Think "interview" and you'll be safe. Business casual is conservative and NOT something you'd wear on a date. When it says "casual," think trendy but not overly trendy. Remember, you are dressing for other girls! As for conversation: even if you're worried about A) whether or not you can afford it B) your boyfriend/family doesn't want you in a sorority. DO NOT MENTION IT. It will only raise a red flag for them. If it's down to you and someone else, and you've shown them any reason you may not stick it out for the long haul, you won't make the cut. Sorority life goes beyond a 4 year commitment. They're investing in you. ALSO: Do not ask about parties, drinking or which guys/frats the chapters hang out with. Another red flag. Trust me, all of that will come with
time. Don't talk about it now or it'll look like you're only interested in getting drunk or getting laid. ASK ABOUT PHILANTHROPY! ASK ABOUT VALUES! ASK ABOUT SISTERHOOD! If you really want to be cheesy, say that you want to find your "home away from home." Haha good luck!!
