gphi- great sisterhood and connect well with other chapters
axo and pi phi - not as dedicated as tridelt or gphi but are starting to get their names out there and participate and build relations with other chapters
theta and SK - don't really participate in much and from what I've seen don't try to improve relations with other chapters but still friendly girls :)


dg and alpha phi- honestly don't participate at all and aren't friendly to girls in other chapters. Know they are in the attractive and "popular" sororities so feel they don't have to try

I completely agree with all of you, and I don't want to bash either, I personally love a few DG's and like... 2 alpha phi's (haha its the truth) but to be honest all of the other sororities at least get along with each other, or play nice, however you want to say it. Alpha phi and DG are just not nice to anyone else, and to be honest, they aren't even nice to their own sisters! Its not even a secret that Tri Delt has won best sisterhood or had the most sister sorority points or whatever, I don't even remember, but they were first in sisterhood (good for you guys). But it just sucks when your sorority is paired up with DG/Aphi because they don't care about anyone but themselves or guys, so they don't try to meet up or do events with us. Its sad that they have no honor for other female greek members.

I mean DG has good fraternity relations but other than a few gems, they are not tell liked by other sororities. I've had DG's blatantly bash on me at parties because I was in a "lower" tier sorority. It bothers me that they're considered top tier. They're top tier for all the wrong reasons.

I've always considered Tri Delta top house. I know that's not how the "ranks" go but as far as how a top house should act, they clearly know what they're doing. In my personal experience, all the tri delts I know are as sweet as can be and have good heads on their shoulders. They also LOVE their sisterhood, and I know MANY DG's and Alpha Phi's who have DA'ed or who just don't really like the sisterhood because of how catty the girls are.

I couldn't agree more. If it were based on personality and how great the chapters were as a whole, top tier would be Tri Delta, GPhi, and AXO. Freshmen, I would pay attention to those houses. Those are the ones that are worth it.

We all agree that DG and Alpha Phi are highly overrated and really just not that friendly to each other and the rest of the greek community. However, I really don't think any other chapter is necessarily bad at UCI. Yes, some of the others are more popular than another chapter and some hang out with more frats or have higher GPA's but in the end I think the remaining chapters (AXO, tri delt, gphi, theta, Pi Phi, and SK) are all great chapters. All are full of wonderful girls who are respectful to each other and the rest of the greek community. To be honest I think you would benefit from joining any chapter at UCI that I just named (not trying to say don't join a phi and dg but in my opinion it just is not a positive experience)

I definitely prefer dg to alpha phi. Even the 3 nice alpha phis ive met act narcissistic. Dgs are okay. They can be friendly but you can tell they also are narcissistic. Who the heck wants to deal with that all day? Sorry I know plenty of girls way hotter than them who are sweet caring and respectful.

Alpha phi and delta gamma, just look at all the comments and how other sororities feel about you. Consider changing your attitudes a bit.

I'm from one of said chapters. Thank you all for your opinions. If we make more of an effort to be nicer, I'm not saying we don't or aren't nice, we'd be even better chapters. That's what being a greek woman is about, supporting each other and holding ourselves to a higher standard. Thank you for the constructive criticism. And please make the effort to reach out when we reach out and I'm sure I will (and have in the past), it's a two way street, right?! I really appreciate my friends in other chapters and its frustrating to be stereotyped or generalized in this way.
