pinnings
by: incoming freshmanI know that Greek life isn't very huge at UC Irvine, but are pinnings/lavaliers common here? I always thought that was a really cool tradition!

If you mean pinning as in where a fraternity member pins his sorority girlfriend, whatever, no we do not. Wish we did though. Lavaliers are given, but probably not necessarily in the way they are traditionally given. From my experience a big sis would give one to her little if she was proud of her for something.
