I know for a FACT that AEPi doesn't self rank, because believe it or not, they don't ACTUALLY give a crap, but there are several, if not BUNCHES of girls who absolutely love AEPi. They do rage hard. They may not rage the HARDEST, but who gives a crap. Every party they throw is fun, and I would know because I've been to quite a few of them. They're also the one frat that I've hung out with that doesn't creepily hit on me within 10 minutes of a conversation (phi delts. get a life.) So, AEPi is not "hella" desperate. They just have a lot of loyal girls that actually really enjoy them and think they should be highly ranked. I am one of them.

From my experience Phi Psi are divided. They have some of the most awesome guys, but they have some douches. And, their parties really are hit or miss.

i agree completely! they didn't show up at all this year in sports or venue parties. they were just lame douche bags who seem entitled to a spot in the top teir. like the tridelt of the frats.

Original list is really accurate. I have had socials with all three sigmas and they are almost the same. Sigma Chi has the better athletes and overall best looking, Sigep rage REALLY hard and are off probation, Sigma Nu are the nicer guys who make everyone feel welcome. I would say true gentlemen. I do not think Aepi or Phi delt are above these three. As for their ranking among themselves it would depend of whether you prefer to rage, hang out with athletic good looking boys, or if you are a sucker for gentlemen.

Original post is the most accurate list i have seen. I genuinely believe sigma chi and sigep are top mid tier with AEPI right behind them. I have been in a sorority for three years now and I have seen great improvement. Sigma Chi has been getting amazing new classes and are one of the classiest gentlemen on campus. One of the best looking as well you can tell they hit the gym. Sigep has became a party frat and is the the only mid tier frat who actually rage in Irvine. I agree that parties get packed because they get filled with a lot of dorm non-affiliate girls but then again raging is all that they are known for. AEPi has always been a small chapter but not only have they got more involved compared to other greeks but they have build relationships with every sorority and no one hates them. As for sigma nu I do not know much about them. We did songfest with them in previous years though and they did seem like a nice strong group.

I disagree. Ive been a greek for 4 years (super senior adding a dub now) and Sigma chi is slipping since they dont party much and are sooo divided with amazing nice guys to douches. Sig ep slipped too. Used to be top mid but while they are ragers they dont compare to ksig phi psi or sigma pi. Sigma nu is a solid mid bottom tier.

What ? Okay I have literally partied and hanged out with all of these fraternities . Sigma Nu doesn't party, doesn't have good looking guys , doesn't do good at sports . Id say bottom tier . Phi Delt is better at sports than sigma Nu, has better looking guys and definitely rages . Sigma chi , SigEP and Phi Delt are all above sigma nu. People say mid tier but sig Nu aren't known for anything . They can't slip because they already bottom . The three sigmas aren't the best mid tier . Only Sigma Chi , Phi Delt , and barely SigEP.

I disagree with u about sigma nu. They are lower mid. They do party and have a few attractive guys. Phi delt has only a few good looking guys. They party but their parties are usually lame. Sigma chi doesnt rage like they used to and some awkward guys hard to keep their spot. If sig ep rages again and gets a good class they'll be above aepi. But for now aepi had the best philanthropy and did well in songfest. And they do party. Sure they suck at sports but they are small. And of course below sae and pike.

I actually think that sigma nu is a great chapter . They always participate and are on level with the other two sigmas and phi delt. AEPi however is an okay chapter but definitely not above any of the other four listed. Some creepy guys and the other guys are just too friendly. Sure they also participate but thats about it.

Respect her opinion . My girlfriend use to party with AEPi and said the same thing . Half are creepy and half are super friendly . Obviously there are a couple normal chill guys but the general bunch aren't what you claim they are.

Thanks for backing me up! Phi delt also has some great guys! But they do have creepers who need to be careful. Lots of their new guys are great though. I see a brighter future ahead of their creepiness/lame parties/self-ranking :).
The ranks are free to change as time goes by and things happen. But Aepi has thrown some great parties this year, and had an amazing philanthropy, not to mention the guys are mostly super nice and welcoming and generous. Meanwhile, most Sig eps are nice but they never made me feel super welcome and they've really stopped partying. I understand they were on probation but you can still make it work (lots of frats don't have houses). Sigma chi used to be much ragier, and now they aren't as much. They have lots of amazing guys, but then they have a few awkward/rude ones that kill party vibes (when they actually do party). For the most part Sigma Nus are great. They haven't raged as much as they can, but they still rage enough. I think at this point they are ahead of the other Sigmas (besides SAE). SAE has an interesting road ahead with their inability to have pledgeship. Phi delt is after all the Sigmas. Sports isn't too big of a deal but I think Sigma Chi is the best of all of these.
