no, you don't have to wear long dresses and usually there are three sorority formals, one for each quarter. what most girls usually wear are tight dresses. don't think prom. think clubbing in vegas lmao

It is not a dumb question. It is a kind of random and strangely specific question, of all the questions you can ask. I mean I didn't even wear a long dress to prom. This is college, not high school. You can wear whatever you want. Also, formals just depend on the different sororities and also if you get invited to a fraternity(ies) formal. So it varies from person to person, and chapter to chapter.
