dues
by: new girlI'm thinking of rushing this coming year and I'm interested in theta and dg. Just curious, what is the average due amount for both of those sororities?
#4 by: it varies
dues vary from chapter to chapter
for your first quarter which is your pledging period, it's about $600-$850 (it's only this pricey for the very first quarter you join because of one time fees etc that you need to pay for the first time). each quarter after, it's about $350-$500 for active dues (active means that you are an initiated member and no longer pledging). there are lots of scholarships that you can apply for, especially from alumni clubs or regionals/nationals even. keep in mind that dues are not all inclusive for some chapters, meaning there are extra fees you'll need to pay for events, formals, etc. and also, keep in mind that you'll be spending money for new clothes (sometimes you need certain outfits or shoes for certain events like white pants or black wedges, etc.), gifts for bigs/littles, philanthropies, letters, tshirts and more.
