narrowed it down to 2 frats
by: InterestedI'm interested in rush pike or sae in the fall. What's the ups and downs of each frat.

yeah, pike is like decent at sports, but there's like no brotherhood. I saw a pike try to rush another pike on ring road this year and it was super awkward because it wasnt a joke and the older guy got super offended. their parties are mediocre and they're not really that close with any sororities (maaaaaayyyybe theta).
i like a lot of the sae's personally, but their new national policy is gonna turn them into a social club practically. no real pledgeship means no close bonds with p-bros and youre not gonna invest the commitment into the chapter that comes with pledgeship. Honestly, pledgeship is like the experience that defines fraternity life. i hate to say it, but theyre probably gonna go down from here, nationally and locally.

Both are great houses. fall rush is two week so you should be checking out every house that you are interested in. don't limit yourself by already narrowing down the houses and creating an image of these fraternities based on this site and what you hear about them.

You obviously did not see one pike try to rush another pike...don't be an idiot. Anyway, in my opinion, you have enough time to rush 2 fraternities in the fall.
