sorority rush house impressions

APhi - Hit or miss. Talked to older members who were sooo beautiful and really smart. The younger girls were awkward in conversation and seemed like they were forcing themselves too much.
TriDelt - Super friendly, talkative, and sweet girls! But on one of the days there was a point when I was talking to 5+ members all at once and it was overwhelming.
SK - Hit and miss. They were very diverse, that's for sure. Some were super sporty, some were really upbeat and girly. Overall they seemed genuine.
PiPhi - Really sweet girls who were well put together. Nice girls but they weren't anything that stood out to me.
DG - Intimidating (they looked like models!) when they were all standing in a clump when you first walk in. They were really pretty, genuine/chill and didn't seem like they were forcing themselves
GPhi - I had pretty bad impressions from most of the girls I talked to. They all were nice, but some were really awkward and couldn't hold a conversation. And then this one girl seemed really disinterested and didn't smile the entire time.
AEPhi - Nice but awkward girls who seemed very intimidated but I would be too if I had to talk to a group of 10+ girls who were most likely not interested.
Theta - Really tight-knit girls that were easy to talk to. Very well put together and were peppy but still genuine at the same time.
AXO - Seemed tight-knit and I didn't talk to a single member who was awkward or who seemed fake. They were peppy, really good at conversation, and pretty

APhi - The girl I was matched up with didn't know how to control a conversation & I was stuck asking questions about herself & I got a self centered vibe from her.
TriDelt - Didn't get to meet them (late to the 1st day of rush)!
SK - Alot of awkward silences and I could tell their peppiness was forced
PiPhi - They were extremely nice and seemed genuinely happy-wasn't my cup of tea though
DG - Pretty girls and I had many good conversations with them--the one thing I remember is them storming the PNM's after their inside song...haha seemed like a movie
GPhi - It was a hit or miss with these girls, some bored me & others had contagious personalities
AEPhi - Nice girls, but the setting & PNM to member ratio made it kind of awkward
Theta - Loved them! They were extremely nice
AXO - The girls I talked to seemed snobby/tired, but that could have been because it was the end of the night (but still, not a good vibe)

Alpha Phi - Gorgeous girls. At first it was intimidating but they made me feel more comfortable. The girls I had were easy-going and funny
Tri Delt - As a whole, all of the girls I talked to were really great. This was a close third in my favorite houses at the time.
Sigma Kappa - I really liked the president the year I went through. She was so warm and welcoming
Pi Phi - I noticed right off the bat that there was not very much diversity in this house. I heard that they were also the most expensive in terms of dues, so they weren't a contender
Delta Gamma - Again, the president was amazing the year I went through. She was so sweet and made me feel at home. Very pretty girls!
GPhi - I had an awkward experience here. I don't remember much else there
AEphi - I thought there were all kind, and it really bugged me that other girls went to the bathroom during their video presentation. So rude!!
Theta - Againnnn, I loved their president! Other than her and her sis, I didn't get as good of a vibe from the other girls.
AXO - The girl I got paired with a girl that was really sweet but I felt like the time just dragged on and on. I couldn't wait to leave. I know that one girl doesn't represent the entire chapter, but I felt more at home at other houses.

APhi- They had pretty hair, and that was about it. The girl I talked to had NO interest in actually getting to know me. Thought she was completely fake. Couldn't wait to get out of there.
DG-They were nice. Their living room looked like Pottery Barn threw up on it. Just a little bit too "sorority" for me. Not what I was looking for.
Tri Delta- LOVED THIS HOUSE. Every girl was super sweet and loved having conversations with me. I thought they were too good for me. Wish I would have had more confidence in myself.
Theta-Absolutely could not stand this house. All we talked about was looks and makeup and I made no real connections with any of the girls I talked to. Plus they all had these incredibly creepy smiles.
AXO-My top house throughout the entirety of rush. Met some of the girls at the booth and couldn't get enough of them. I felt so at home when I was in the house. (I ended up not getting a bid from them, but oh well.)
GPhi- sweet girls. They were the only house that I confessed my weird nerdy obsessions to. I felt very at home here as well. Like I could be accepted for who I was. Really important.
Pi Phi- I was intrigued by the cook, and that was about it. Boring girls. Not really much there.
SK- It was hard keeping conversations with these girls. I felt super uncomfortable here. Just not the right house for me.

APhi - Didn't make a huge impression negatively or positively on day 1 but as the week progressed, I ended up loving them. Overall, well spoken and put together.
DG - Really liked them, one of my top choices all throughout rush. Had great conversations with both older and younger girls. Made me feel welcome in their chapter.
Tri Delt - Liked them enough to want to return after day 1, but didn't make much of an impression after that. Did a great job on philanthropy day but I was a bored in my conversations here.
Theta - Definitely not for me. I dropped them after day 1. Scared the crap out of me. So much fake smiling and wide eyed staring. Was shocked to find out how much other people were loving them.
AXO - Very sweet. Did an excellent job portraying themselves as down-to-earth and not the stereotypical sorority girls. Nice breath of fresh air after just having been to Theta on day 1.
GPhi - Literally made zero impression. I remember sitting on the basketball court making my cuts at the end of the 1st night and not being able to recall a single thing that happened during that party.
Pi Phi - Talked to some good girls here. Able to hold conversations well. Had more than just the typical "name, year, major" conversations which was nice.
Sigma Kappa - Hard to hold a conversation but overall seemed like sweet girls. Definitely was a bit awkward though.
AEPhi - Seemed like such a genuine sisterhood just not what I wanted out of a sorority.
