which fraternities rush during spring quarter?

Most fraternities rush spring quarter, and you don't particularly have better chances because it's spring... you're looking at it the wrong way.
Have a 1-4 fraternities in mind when going into rush, and check frats those out. You won't be able to check out every single fraternity, so prioritize.
Have any friends in frats? Start hanging out with them now and see if you like them; if you do, go to their rush events when rush week starts.
If you don't have any friends in frats, start making some.

I would recommend phi delt, sigma chi , k-sig or sigma pi. Don't rush sigep unless you literally only want women and beer all they do is rage . There is more to frats than that and I'm certain they will lose their house soon and your pledging will be pointless . Phi Delt are genuinely nice guys that don't really party but always participate in the Greek community . Sigma chi are gentlemen and great at sports . Ksig and Sigma Pi are top house for a reason so check them out if you want to experience an amazing brotherhood . SAE are always really nice guys who actually party . I wouldn't recommend any other frat.

People hate on fraternities especially after last year with LTD. Non-greeks especially will find anything to create drama.

I'm guessing you out this to make some kind of joke, but if you're looking for strong alumni networks, phi delt and sigma chi are great options. Both have over 500 local alumni and great national alumni networks. Both were also the original fraternities on campus, along with beta. All three of these fraternities have lost their charter and regained it (with phi delt being the most recent to lose and regain theirs.) And the only reason I'm not recommending beta is because they have no presence, very few members, and they will most likely lose their charter again soon.
