COULDN'T AGREE MORE WITH THIS!! If you're not the type of person who is into super materialistic and superficial things, cattiness, getting drunk and hooking up with guys and dealing with douchey frat guys, UCI's sorority life isn't for you. Not all chapters are the same, but if you go into a sorority for the wrong reasons chances are you'll get stuck with a chapter that does all of the above and absolutely hate it.

It's different for everyone. A lot of girls join a sorority and realize it's not for them and quit. But you never know...for some people it is a great experience and for some it's not. For me Greek life wasn't my thing, but I did meet some of my greatest friends through it.

Greek life really depends on the person and on the chapter. Some girls would never join a sorority, for different reasons and others would join. It really depends on the type of person you are and your "beliefs" on Greek life. Every single chapter at UCI is very different you are bound to find the chapter for you if you are interested in joining.
