dropping a sorority

by: help

hey y’all. i joined a sorority through informal recruitment but i honestly think i rushed and made the wrong decision. the girls are great but i just don’t think the sorority is for me. the problem is that i’ve already been initiated. would it be possible to still drop and do COB in winter/spring or rush next quarter? and will that appear bad to other sororities to do?

No, if you’ve been initiated into one sorority you cant join another panhellenic.

Once ur initiated into a Panhellenic sorority you can’t join another one ever. The only thing you could join is a join a multicultural or professional fraternity/sorority. Honestly though if you have the money I would give it a little bit more time! Wait until we’re back on campus and you can actually have a normal sorority experience in the sorority you’re in. This year is so different without socials, philos, formals and everything like that and it’s harder to make connections not in person. If you can give it a little longer I didn’t feel 100% like I fit in until I started recruiting my sophomore year and now I know there’s no other sorority I’d want to be in
