greek life opinions on lgbt

I really want to join greek life but I’m scared that people won’t be okay with it because I’m a girl and I’m not straight. UCI is one of the schools I applied to and it’s my top choice so if I get in I’m going here.

What do people in greek life think about the lgbt community? I just don’t want to join somewhere where I would be uncomfortable or would not be accepted :( Please give me some info

To my knowledge the Greek community is supportive and accepting of those who identify as lgbt! If you want to rush I encourage you to do so. There are several people in the Greek community who identify as lgb. That shouldn’t stop you from wanting to rush ! :)

Sororities, or at least the ones I know of, will accept and embrace you for you as long as you identify as a female! Hope ya get in! :)
