what makes the top house, the top house?
why is tridelt now second? and DG fourth?

AND what is the difference between AXO and Pi Phi?

To answer your questions -
Top house is the house that has the mot women that are beautiful, popular, intelligent, involved, high achieving and generally should have a strong sisterhood, but tbh most people just focus on looks and popularity

Tridelt has risen a lot in the past few years, and from what I've heard DG has fallen from what they used to be, no good reason really, just changing times

And as for AXO and Pi Phi it really depends on who you know. People keep fighting over it because both chapters have outstanding women as well as some less involved ones, so depending on who you know from each chapter you'd rank them differently.

Go through rush with an open mind and try and look past the rankings, it's far more important to find a house that you love :)

^^^^^ obviously a DG that's bitter about tri delt passing them up in rankings this year. No sorority has a good reputation honestly. There's always something to say no matter which sorority you're talking about to you future freshman out there. DG and Theta definitely don't have the best reps either.

dg's are the easiest girls on campus. only reason why they're still above theta.
alpha phi and theta yakk always. aphi destroyed the venue at their formal this year.
tri delt has lost the rep you speak of since those girls have been long gone.
only rep now... tri delts are bros, think they can out drink every frat.

Alpha phi is top house.

TriD/DG can be alternated based on preference.

Theta afterwards.

However, tridelt has the reputation as thirstiest sorority on campus, ask any guy. This really doesn't help their cause.

Things can change quickly for a chapter so don't base your opinion on gossip sites. One pledge class can change things for the better or worse. PNMs go in and figure out where you feel at home.

i find it funny how totally off the rankings here are compared to what people post on discussions. because i hear a lot of rankings that go like alpha phi, tridelt, dg, theta, etc. but then on the rankings page here it goes:
Tri Delt
Theta
GPhi
Pi Phi
axo
DG
SK
APhi.

That being said, for those going through recruitment in the fall, see what fits you, not what everyone else deems "top" or "bottom" house because everyone has a different opinion. Like the post two above me said, one pledge class can change things. You wouldn't want to choose a house just because they're "top" only to find yourself not liking it afterwards. It's super important to go with an open mind, and if at all, disregard all the rankings on this site.
