why all the hate?
by: /I really want to know... why do the top sororities get so much hate? I'm really curious as to what rumors there are regarding DG and Aphi because I've met a handful of girls and they are nice! Why do people have so much negative things to say, what have they done?

if a sorority is considered a "top house," people will bash them and try to make them look bad. it happens to all houses, but the ones at the top have it the worst.
it's kind of ironic how people always say that girls in aphi and dg are awful and mean, yet a post ridiculing and humiliating specific girls in those houses by name get tons of attention and praise here.
Not to name any names, but when a similar post naming a specific girl in pi phi was on here, there were a ton of posts defending her and calling it out as cyberbullying, rightfully so.
I noticed it always gets really bad during the summer because rush is coming up. at the end of the day, all it does is make our entire greek system look petty and immature.

There's been girls on here who were not DG or Aphi and they received a ton of hate on here without defense. Top houses get a lot of hate to be sure, but let's not compare who gets the most hate. This isn't a contest. Frankly, there is way too much hate on here in general. I understand people have their opinions, but considering how tightly knit the Greek community is here, it really is surprising there is so much hate. It honestly comes from a few bored haters. No one should be bringing anyone down. We are all great chapters. I've met great women in all of the sororities.

Yeah I've seen so many posts about girls in lower sororities that get somuch hate. It's actually really sad that we use this site to say things we would never tell a person to their face. We're all a bunch of cowards, really.

I've noticed that too, I'd love to see what everyone has to say about the top houses after rush this year. I'm going to rush this year and after seeing this website, it seems like the greek system is super catty. Just look at that post about London from aphi. People are way too mean when they are given anonymity.
