being hot gets a bid?

Is it true that if you're really pretty you're pretty much guaranteed a bid from aphi or Dg? Thats all I've been hearing and I'm kinda nervous to rush this fall now.

If that where true, no houses besides top 2 would matter. Being a top house isn't just about looks- and if you go into rush thinking you're getting a top house bid, you most likely wont.

Thats the thing, I don't think i will get any bid because I'm not that attractive. I will be very crushed if I really connect with any "top" houses and then get cut because I'm not pretty enough..

This is uci not Alabama, we are not as shallow as you think and we know that bombshells only come 1/100. If you're well rounded (smart, athletic, social etc) and have kept good conversations every day there's no real reason to drop you.

I got dropped by Aphi because I didn't really clique with the girls. We had a nice conversation but no real connection. Believe it or not, they care about more than just looks!
