As a student from a town across the country, I wanted to go through recruitment to meet new people and build long lasting friendships. While recruitment was fun and all it did not take long for me to discover what truly occurs behind the scenes of sororities. Joining Alpha Phi at first was super thrilling but as weeks went on us new pledges were isolated and casted out from the members. They made no efforts in getting to know as better and on top of that, girls were primarily in cliques. I was curious to see what happens on the other side of recruitment so i forced myself to stay another year. When I say that APhi truly hosts appearance-based recruitments rather than on holistic review is disgusting. Knowing cannot tolerate the surface-leveled and fakeness interaction sany longer my friends (in the same pledge class) all decided to drop the same quarter. So over them. DO NOT GET FOOLED by the instagram or aesthetics... save your money and do not waste your time on fake people, these things that don't matter after college.

All the worst, mean girls are in this house. rude stuck up fake everything you can name of. They are nationally known to recruit based off "looks" yet they still mid asf especially the most recent pledges. The decent ones unfortunately graduated leaving behind the backstabbers and fakes. Paying 1k to join and make fake friends? NOT worth it.

IDK ..delta pledges last year were mid af and have noticed that since the 2022 class it keeps declining. Rumor says they are recruiting whoever just to meet quota since people keep dropping due to the cliques. so far behind top house now

I’m so happy I graduated, these last two years have felt awful, my first two years were great but went downhill from there. Don’t choose the sorority with the best ratings on here, everything is fabricated. You had to be wealthy and white to fit it, and all the other POC in the sorority all hate each other.

These girls are majority white, privileged, ditzy, and overall extremely fake. Spending time with them left me extremely worried about the future of the nation. Also, they are dysfunctional and sure know how talk a lot of doodoo on each other. TOXIC

pi phi is great! the girls are genuinely very friendly and fun to be around. a lot of them are pretty social and everyone's nice

Delta Gamma is the most genuine sorority at UCI. All of the girls are so welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. They have the perfect balance of working hard and having fun. They also care a lot about their chapter and are always striving to do good.
