I went through recruitment and decided not to join, but alpha phi was one of my top two if I would have!!! Classically beautiful girls with amazing personalities!! Truly girls that guys bring home to mom. There are "hotter" sororities, but they lack class and hate on their own sisters! I've become friends with a few aphis and they seem to have a true sisterhood!

I went through formal recruitment although some of the sororities may have a larger presence on campus... I LOVED theta! I did not end up pledging in the end as I plan on transferring next year. I wanted to love DG (as I am a three way legacy), but they did not have the sisterhood that theta and alpha phi did. Nice to look at but alot of them are not sisterly to each other.

Here's what you need to know. Good variety of guys. They DO have a house on campus. Nice guys. Classy. Very involved. Can be fun. Average on popularity scale. Average in Looks. Below average in sports.

I think what 'grounded' is trying to say is that Beta is a small house (although they don't have a lot of macho meatheads either). Not the hottest bunch, but they're a really good group of guys and are fun if you get to know them!

This is the engineering fraternity at UCI so you will run into a lot of nice and smart guys, as well as intellectual douchebags. I don't see them representing themselves that much on campus, but can assume that they do have good camaraderie withing the fraternity

Here's what you need to know. PIKE has some of the most athletic IFC teams on campus, but that's all there is to them. They have a big chapter and are pretty much mediocre at everything else
