by: halp pleaseI was wondering what the gap requirement is for each sorority doing formal rush cause I want to rush as a sophomore but my gpa's pretty low. Do I have a chance??

Sororities take pride in their house GPA. However, even at a university like Davis some of the stupidest girls I know are in sororities. They don't study and take more pride in their exchange outfits than their studies. You'll be fine with your GPA because the most important thing is looks and the impression you make on them during recruitment ( even though it sounds shallow). If however your GPA is stupidly low once you're a member, you can be put on social probation. But if you already have a low GPA, why join something that probably won't help it? You go to Davis for school first.

Hey! So I withdrew from my classes and ended up going home for two year. I ended up taking 2 years of cc classes and have a pretty good gpa. However when I left my gpa was a 2.1. If I were to rush would I be docked down because of this. Since I left I would be coming back as a second year

I wouldn't consider Greek life if you struggle to maintain approx. a 3.0 average, as that is what most sororities expect out of you. @ anyone saying that sorority girls can't do well and be smart, myself and my friends are literally the executive council of our sorority (one of the top 4 houses) and we all get Dean's List with majors like Civil Engineering, Finance, NPB, and Computer Science, on top of going out at least once a weekend. So don't judge please!

The average GPA for all 8 sororities is far above the UCD campus average. We know how to work hard and play hard.
