hi, welcome to davis. there is no one top house socially. every girl in every sorority has a different preference. Girls in the same sorority have different preferences. There is one top tier. none of this top tier, upper middle, lower middle, middle middle, 3/4's middle. One top tier.
TOP TIER FRATS at Davis ( no particular order): PIKE, SIGMA CHI, DELTA SIG, THETA Xi
there are the houses that sororities have the most exchanges with. all of these houses have multiple exchanges with the top 4 every quarter. A house drops into the "middle" tier, when you get only 1 exchange with each of the top 4, and " bottom" tier when you get ZERO with the top 4. that's how rankings work.

i think ^ you're looking at it wrong. What the post is saying that the guys are only as relevant as however many the girls want to have with them. When hot houses do more with a frat, that means the frat is chill..versus a frat where no hot house has anything with. these 4 frats are well liked by girls
