rushing as a 6’3 girl— can i get a bid?
by: aggie2022hi! i really want to join a sorority at UC Davis but i’m super worried that i won’t get a bid because of my height— i’m 6’3. do you think this will hurt my chances?

Hey! I’m also tall (and chunkier) and I found the Greek community at Davis to be really accepting toward all women. It was a pleasant surprise given the kind of stereotypes we see in media that might make us feel unwelcome, but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences on both sides of recruitment and I hope that you can be confident in your height throughout recruitment because I know I’d feel ECSTATIC to see a fellow tall lady go Greek, and I’m sure the other tall peeps in other houses feel the same. More than anything, your personality and what you’re passionate about are what matter during recruitment, and I’m sure you’ll let that shine! Go ags :)
