recruitment chances

So I signed up for fall recruitment but I am a transfer student and I commute from Sacramento so I don't live in Davis. Does this affect my chances of being chosen by a house or do they not really care?

Not at all! If anything, joining greek life will make your experience more fun since you know you'll have people to hang out with. And you'd have a sister that would led you crash on their couch any day :)
