bring back the love

With the current climate of the Greek community and the amount of hate that is being directed towards certain organizations we should all take a moment to reflect on why we decided to join Greek life. We joined for the memories, the friendships, and the community. Greek life from the beginning was meant to improve the lives of the individual and those around them. Nowhere in these values that Greek life holds itself upon is there anything related to hate. Hate that makes others compare themselves to their classmates. Hate that makes others feel insecure. Hate that strips people of their self confidence and makes them question the community they joined. As members of Greek life we should strive to bring each other up and not let malicious comments get in the way of what the Davis Greek community stands for. We are all people at the end of the day, no matter what chapter we are in we all joined for the betterment of ourselves and our community. You’re only as good as who you surround yourself with so let’s remember that and bring the love back.
