formal rush as a sophomore?

I'm a current freshman at UCD and I didn't go through rush this year but would really like to next year. I don't know too many girls in sororities and I've heard its almost impossible to get into a house as a sophomore unless you know someone. Added to the fact that there will probably be way more freshman rushing next year (more freshman in general), is it worthwhile to try rushing or will it basically be impossible?

Every house takes some sophomores (except kinda DG but even they take a couple)

Did it as a sophomore with the same concerns but I ended up getting into a sorority I really love! U might be automatically dropped from like the top two houses though but as long as ur really looking for a place where you' fit in and are less concerned about getting a spot in the top house then you have nothing to worry about

You could always try informal rush as well!! I know the AXO, TriDelt, and KAO are having informal this quarter!
