Their elitist attitude would totally be warranted if the top sororities actually liked them. Awkward, they don't. Join sigma chi if you have a stick up your butt. I heard they're into that kind of stuff anyways.

Ok so these guys are actually really nice, smart guys, they just try wayyy to hard to be frat. lay off it guys, that's not your style! Different than Sigep, Signu, etc. but deserve to be up there in rankings.

These guys have moved so much since I first knew them. Exchanges with them my freshman year were boring and whatever but now they graduated a bunch of seniors and the new guys have flipped the house around. Now going into junior year I'm sure these boys will be a top house.

Being neutral myself, I've seen them instigating among other houses and it's just not worth it. They have potential, but they won't get anywhere by expecting respect, they have to earn it. Prove something to the Greek Community outside of awards, those don't do the talking in Davis.

a lot of houses seem to be dropping off because their seniors are graduatiing. This house however seems like it benefits from their seniors graduating. They were the guys who tried to hard to win awards and not care about inter fraternity relations. these newer guys are hotter, more fun, and a lot friendlier than the seniors they had graduating. people talk about sigma chi and sig ep as top houses now and i can see that for next year. im actually interested in seeing how these younger, cooler guys handle the house

I'm a friend of a brother and all I can say is that the ratings here are ridiculous. All the brothers I've met treated me as a friend and as a brother even though they had no reason to. Yea, a lot of guys wear sperrys and polos but their genuine personalities severely outweighs their pretentious apparel. A lot of good guys in the house and super involved in philanthropy. And honestly, a lot of people believe that Sigma Chis think they are better than everyone else, they really don't. I'm rushing this fall quarter and when asking a couple of brothers, they mentioned to check out other GREAT fraternities so I can have the best fit. The only bad thing I can think of is that they don't throw many open ragers, but they do have a lot of kickbacks which you'll need to be a friend of the brothers or a girl to get in. As for their actual status in the greek system, I would say they are a top house but NOT THE top house.
