freshman transfer

Hi, I'm thinking about transferring to MU for the spring semester. I'm a freshman and would for sure be rushing; however, is it hard to get a bid as a transfer? I know a few girls in sororities but am not sure if being a transfer will hurt because I won't have had a time to establish myself.

Although it definitely gives you a leg up knowing/meeting people from the previous semester, as long as you are friendly and personable you should be ok.

nope! I don't think being a transfer matters at all. As long as you can carry a conversation and be excited about joining a chapter, it really isn't hard to get a bid.

being a transfer doesn't make a difference at all! its about the conversations you have with the girls in the room, shouldn't hurt or help you to be a transfer:)
