pre-picking

is it true some of the sororities pre-pick girls? if so doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of rushing lol

Not that I have heard of. I am in a sorority on campus. Basically the way my sorority chooses girls (generally how most do) is if your conversation convinces us that your values match up to our sorority's and to our girls' to see if you would fit it. Obviously you would have to choose us as well. It's kind of impossible to pre-pick girls because each person that talks to you is going to have a slightly different opinion of you.
