house tours

hi all! I'm a freshman, and I know a few girls in about 4 out of the 6 sororities and it seems like there's great girls in each sorority regardless of where you end up. I will say tours did feel rather rushed so it was hard to get a good grasp of each sorority.

Pi phi - doesn't have a house rn but will have one by the time us freshies are juniors if you've ever given thought to living in a house. They were all very nice but I didn't really connect with any of them. I feel like they could've tried to interact with us a bit more

AXO - very sweet girls! did a good job at making conversation with us. made us all feel very welcomed. nice house.

KD - one of the houses I felt the most welcomed in. really good mix of girls, and were all very attentive to pnm's. I had some of the best conversations here during house tours. house was very nice and cute.

sigma kappa - also another house I felt the most welcomed in. I had members shake my hand as I walked in which I know maybe sounds a little weird but that left a good impression on me. I felt the most connected to these girls out of all the house, especially to the girl who gave me the house tour because we seemed to share similar personalities. Beautiful house and wonderful girls.

a phi - house is structurally similar to sig kap, but def has a different vibe. girls were very sweet and seemed to love their sorority a lot. I know this is regarded as a top house on campus, but personally for me I didn't feel like I clicked with anyone here. Regardless, I had some good conversations here as well, but I feel like maybe I just needed a little more time to really gather my opinion on them.

axid - suspended, but there house seems nice from the outside at least. I do know some girls in this sorority and they're all very sweet girls if anyone cares lol

Final thoughts:
My opinions are all subject to change, but off the bat I really loved sigma kappa and kappa delta. Regardless, it seems like you'd be lucky to be in any of these sororities.

I honestly loved alpha phis house. I know their house is like sigma kappa's but the vibe and "hominess" I got from all the girls there seemed to be more legit. I also liked a chi o's house. They had a similar vibe as alpha phi but not as strong if that makes sense!
