social life/ sisterhood

All of the sororitys have girls who party, but the primary ones seem to be Sigma kappa, alpha phi, kd and axd.

If you're a freshman and you haven't figured this out yet, tons of people at marquette party, and being greek has very little influence on social life. That being said, when people refer to a sorority that 'parties' the most it usually means the one that has a rep for being sloppy drunk, goes out every weekend-type.

From my experience Alpha phi and kappa delta have good sisterhoods but are more cliquey, like really close friend groups but not as strong with the overall chapter. Idk why

I don't know anyone in pi phi or axo really well but i've heard those girls are pretty close. They all seem v genuine so I wouldn't be surprised.

Sigma Kappa and Axd seem like they have moderately good sisterhood.

I'm trying to go into rush with an open mind but it is hard when you hear stereotypes and see how pretty the different girls are. My biggest fear is joining somewhere I think I want to be and not making any friends lol.

^^^ in order to prevent that, do not gossip or even talk about anything Greek life during or the week prior to recruitment. If a conversation arises, remove yourself from it, that way you're not hearing about it. In addition, remember which room it was easiest to talk in, where did you have the most unique conversations, and what room would your parents be proud of you being a part of?
