I had so much fun at kkg formal I'm so glad I got invited! It was one of the best nights of my life in a while! Really great group of girls they're all so sweet!

Suspicious that on the same day comments on KKG's page is very positive and the other sororities receive extreme nasty and mean reviews.... not very Greek like to tear down other girls.

Kappa Kappa Gamma is a women's fraternity because it was founded before the term "sorority" came into use. Because men were able to create fraternity groups, Kappa's founders thought they should be able to do the same. However, since it admits only women, it is referred to as a sorority. Kappa Kappa Gamma is also referred to as "KKG" and "Kappa".

Ever since Kappa has been committed to helping the Greek system grow in a positive and equitable way. Kappa chapters and alumnae associations embrace the goals of the National Panhellenic Conference by encouraging intersorority and interfraternity activities and community service, working with university officials and contributing to the greater good in partnership with other campus and community organizations.

Having a sense of belonging and sisterhood is one of the most common reasons to join KKG. It can be difficult to find a sense of unity at college if you don’t join a sports team, one of the entertainment clubs or even know what hobbies or extra-curricular activities interest you. With joining a sorority, the student body can seem less daunting and it will be easier to find a home among like-minded people. Being a sister can give you a sense of identity and the feeling of belonging to a family.

Some of the most well rounded girls on campus that can do a variety of different things! You can usually spot several kappa girls throughout the day who are very involved members of Marist and their chapter! Also the easiest girls to have conversationsome with :)

Kappa Kappa Gamma offers a member experience ranging from friendship to mentoring, from leadership to service and from campus activities to a lifetime of community involvement. There are hundreds of leadership opportunities here. We encourage members to participate in chapter management through elected and appointed positions. Working together develops time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills that will serve the chapter and prepare the member for life after college.
