Kappa Sigma is the newest and largest fraternity at Marist College. The people who founded Kappa Sigma have worked so hard to get it chartered at Marist. Their efforts have definitely paid off in the long run. They guys who brought Kappa Sigma to Marist should be proud because in the short amount of time its been at Marist it's nice to see how far they've come and how big they've gotten. Their popularity has grown and lots of people love being around them. But, because they're new they still have a few kinks to work out but that's okay because no organization can be perfect all the time. Some of the even more established fraternities have their issues and problems. Kappa Sigma has worked had to keep up their well-respected reputation at Marist and I'm sure it will still hold strong for years to come. I can't wait to see Kappa Sigma flourish for years to come.

I would say that Zeta Psi is one of the most underrated fraternities at Marist. All the guys I talk to from Zeta Psi are super nice and welcoming. Yes, every fraternity has its rotten eggs but Zeta Psi makes sure they make everyone they meet feel super comfortable and included. They're definitely worth joining due to them being internationally known with a substantial amount of chapters. There are great networking opportunities when joining Zeta Psi. I strongly urge who is considering rush to check out Zeta Psi and consider them because they have a great chapter at Marist. A lot of the guys I've spoken to from Zeta Psi are genuinely nice guys and make an effort to be friendly and inclusive to everyone they meet. It's refreshing to know that their primary focus isn't to have the biggest parties, drink the most alcohol, and get with the most girls.

They don't even have their main party house anymore so it's not the same. Not fun anymore. At least you could say before that you had fun at their parties every once and a while but they just mainly keep to themselves and they can't even participate in greek council or greek week. They're not recognized by Marist and I doubt they ever will be in the future.
