Good ol Phi Lamb

I have friends from both Pi Lam (as in, have always been in it) and ZBT (as in, they were in it, and some are now joining other fraternities such as Pi Lam). Some IFC fraternities allow you to join another fraternity if you disaffiliate from your original one (ZBT is one of them) and since ZBT doesn't exist on UF's campus anymore, some of its former brothers are choosing to rush other fraternities on campus. Pi Lam is a popular one with them, maybe because they have similar values nationally or simply because a few brothers liked it and they wanted to stick together. (In contrast - Panhellenic doesn't allow you to do this - once you're initiated into a Pan sorority, you can never join another one. Ever.) Some brothers are also rushing other fraternities, such as AEPi, TEP and others. Some are choosing to remain independent. But Pi Lam seems to be their most popular choice!
