It's probably different house to house, but what's the food like when you're eating in house? I have some dietary restrictions and was hoping to see what kind of options there are?

Is there any way to opt out of the meal plan?

I'm sure there are if you talk to your finance girl in the house, but you don't want to do that. Sorority house food is 10 times better than any dining hall food and it's way cheaper!

Every house has a bunch of dietary options and can cater to your limitations: / vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free etc. Every house also has a different stance on getting off the meal plan, some let you, some do not. Ask the chapter women during recruitment if this poses an issue for you.

I know personally my house made a regular meal, a gluten free meal, and a vegetarian meal every day for dinner. Lunch was more buffet style, with a hot food, which was sometimes vegetarian sometimes not. I know that individual sisters who had very specific dietary restrictions discussed it with the chef and had meals specially made for them
