rushing as a junior

by: upperclassman

So I'm thinking about rushing as a junior but I don't know how sororities feel about recruiting upperclassmen.. I think I'd fit in pretty well and I'm just looking for some new friends but I'm also worried about clicking with a pledge class that's two years younger than me. Would it be easy for me to get closer with people my age? And would sororities think its weird that I'm rushing as a junior?

One of my best friends in my PC was a junior when I rushed as a sophomore. You will have many different ages in your PC, yet the majority of them are freshmen. It's not a massive age gap though. I'd just recommend trying to take a little in your spring semester if the house you pledge does spring rush so that you can have a little when you're a junior rather than a senior! Yes there are upperclassmen quotas but if you fit in well during rush you shouldn't have a problem.
