rush week
by: pnmok so what happens if its pouring down rain during rush week? do we still have to walk from house to house? obviously i'm planning on bringing an umbrella and rain jacket, but even so...just wondering if there's some sort of procedure for this if it gets really stormy.

I've never seen it so bad where they cancel a day or something. But they do have "rain delays" or "rain starts". For a rain delay, you wait inside the house you were just rushing in until it's safe enough to walk outside from house to house. A rain start is when instead of waiting in the pnm tent outside, you will be in the foyer or a room close to the front waiting to start the round so you don't get soaked.

it can take a significant amount of time and y'all have to sit there basically silently, often cramped. This will happen at least 2-3 times. And then the chairs outside will be wet all day. lol florida. get excited.
