picking your house

honestly the second i was picked up by the girl in the house I'm in I fell in love. It's like picking a wedding dress kind of. You'll know when it's right

I knew right after I walked out of my house on prefs. I just thought to myself "this is the one!" Prefs really hits you after an emotional and physically draining week. But it's ok to not be sure of what house you want until prefs too! I also remember girls crying when they were picking what house they wanted after the last round because they just didn't know, and that does happen. Just stick with your gut feeling and where you felt truly comfortable throughout this experience.

I really loved my house Round 1, but there were so many and honestly I loved literally all of them except a few. But it wasn't until Round 3 where I said "This is my home, I want to go here" and that's actually the round I met my big in! But it's different for everyone. You may hate a house, get a bid, and then fall in love. You may fall in love round 1.
Basically, it happens at any time. And just because you love a house doesn't make it your home, you won't really know the exact moment until you look back at it (lol) and say "that was it!". Hindsight is 20/20 my dear.

I knew when I had one house left on my pref schedule

I knew once I looked at my pref schedule and only cared about making sure that this one house was on it (of three).

When I got my big! But before then I was unsure. I liked my house but it had been second on my pref card and it took a few weeks for that sting to fade.
