typically, how much are dues?
by: pnmI'm thinking about signing up for recruitment. However, my parents have made it clear that I have to pay for the dues and everything else that has to do with the sorority on my own. I was just curious as to how much a sorority typically costs just so I can have an idea!

I believe some ballpark numbers are on the UF Panhellenic website. Each sorority will have different dues but expect to pay around 2,0000 a semester (not living in house) could be higher or lower. But food is also included for that so you can factor out your 1,000 dollar meal plan once you switch.

Hi there! My dues are basically $300 more than the UF meal plan was my first semester, and now i pay a little less than the cost of the meal plan. It's SO doable! Just remind youre parents that most of the dues go to food, and that you get much higher quality food than you'll ever have at Broward. My mom almost had a heart attack last year when i first told her the estimated dues, but then i explained that it includes meals, and that you do dues instead of a meal plan. Once you factor food into it, its very attainable.
