don't get it
by: PNMI am going through recruitment in a few weeks. I have looked at the social media sites for the sororities just to get a feel for them. I do not get this "tier" thing. All the girls are very pretty from top to bottom tiers. Makes no sense how they can be ranked this way.

The tiers honestly have nothing to do with how beautiful and wonderful the girls in each sorority actually are.
They have to do with fraternity social rotations and age old stereotypes.
Pick 10 random girls from a top tier and 10 random girls from a bottom tier and you won't be able to accurately pick who is in which house. The difference in looks is not drastic, as some people would have you believe.
And on top of that, what your sisters look like is not nearly as relevant as how they make you feel.
Find a place where you feel at home and loved.

It's all garbage. There was once a time where a top tier girl was 500x prettier and more popular than a bottom-tier girl. Now, not so much. The only real difference in tiers now is who the houses pair with - if being paired with a "top tier" fraternity is important to your self-worth, then go top tier. Otherwise, you'll find beautiful, accomplished, and passionate women at every house. Joining a sorority isn't about surrounding yourself with the prettiest men and women possible to boost your ego - it's about finding real sisterhood. :)
