so I'm planning on transferring to UF, IF I GET IN.

I was wondering how AChiO is in their chapter? I am from out of state and was wondering how the sister hood is and etc.

Here they're called Alpha Chi. They're a middle tier chapter with what appears to be a strong sisterhood. From what I've seen, they like to party a lot and are fun girls. That's just my impression, but you should check it out for yourself.

Solid chapter, they seem to really be close to one another. Lower mid tier appearance wise but they're a strong sisterhood and very involved and I know and like lots of them.

LOVE them. I had a really good friend who rushed them in spring, then fall and finally got a bid after a year of trying.

I'd be sure you really really want them. I have known women who are hazed by their bigs before reveal. My close friend had to bake a cake for so.e guy she didn't know and deliver it to his frat house dressed in a not so flattering costume (amongst other things).

I've literally never heard of any kind of hazing at AXO…don't believe everything you read on greekrank. In fact, don't believe most of it.

This truly happened. She didn't feel hazed, but it was technically hazing

EVERYTHING is considered hazing these days. My friend had some guys sing to her little and that was considered hazing. When you hear "hazing" in regards to sororities, it's not what you think.

True statement. Nobody actually "hazes". Some sororities do funny, playful things with their new members but only if they're 100% into it, and never anything hurtful, shameful, or in any way harmful. That being said, I know a girl who got in trouble for asking her little to come outside the dorm so she could be serenaded by a group of fraternity boys and given a bouquet of flowers - somebody in the dorm reported it as "potential intentional embarrassment" and she got into huge trouble for "hazing". Ridiculous.
