t-shirts!

So I'm super excited to turn in my rush application! There's just one little thing, and that's the T-shirt size they ask for. I'm a small in comfort colors and gildan, but usually a medium for actual tops from actual stores. I'm about a size 6-8. Do these shirts run big or small? I'm trying to avoid bagginess and tightness. I'd hate to get dropped because I looked sloppy in the wrong size.

Honestly we won't drop you for something as silly as this. However, if you're in between sizes it generally looks better if the shirt is slightly larger as opposed to slightly smaller. Given the information that you provided I'd probably order a medium if I were you

They're American apparel and usually run big! I'd def get a small! :)

Thank you!!!! I actually heard AA runs small though, that's my problem. How is it compared to comfort colors or gilden? I might just get a medium and end up pinning and sewing late after orientation lol

AA runs small- definitely. I'm around your size and actually got a small because I didn't know. It fit and wasn't too tight but didn't have the t shirt look.
Their mediums are like a CC small, maybe a little looser.
