SAE has the better house (big paved courtyard, stage/live music, and balconies) so that may give them the edge in terms of gamedays. Besides that, they're really alike. Good looking, fun, wild. Both are extremely difficult to get a bid from (SAE is probably the most difficult on campus), so you really have to either enroll at summer b, have connections at either fraternity, or be a legacy at the chapter to have a good chance at receiving a bid at either house.

sae makes you earn your bid, but theres no way anyone can call EX "extremely difficult to get a bid". they had like 40 kids in their fall 14' class

Sigma Chi has more parties, better brotherhood and overall cooler kids HOWEVER they did take 40 kids in the fall so not everyone fits that category. SAE is like a smaller, less active version of Sigma Chi, with a nicer house.

both are the top 2 houses at UF. SAE has a better house for sure, and has smaller pledge classes than Sigma Chi (so could be harder to get a bid at). I heard that Sigma Chi can't have game days at their on campus house this fall which could affect theie rushing. Other than that, very similar to each other.
